Join Us for Campmeeting 2025: A Time for Revival and Renewal at New Prospect Methodist Campground

As the crisp autumn air settles in, it’s time to prepare our hearts and tents for Campmeeting 2025 at New Prospect Methodist Campground! This cherished annual gathering, kicking off Saturday, October 11th, is a sacred time of worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Whether you’re a longtime tenter or a first-time visitor, we invite you to join us for a week of revival that promises to uplift and inspire.

A Heartfelt Invitation to Revival

Campmeeting is more than an event—it’s a tradition rooted in faith, community, and the transformative power of God’s Word. As we gear up for this special season, we ask you to keep our visiting and host pastors in your prayers, along with all those who will attend to hear the Gospel. Let’s come together with open hearts, ready for revival!

To help us focus on the upcoming week, Prayer Meetings will begin on Wednesday, September 17th, and continue every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. under the Tabernacle. Led by pastors from our local Methodist churches, these gatherings are an opportunity to center our thoughts on the revival ahead. Everyone is welcome to attend and join in this sacred preparation.

Respecting the Sacred Space

Campmeeting is held on Holy Ground, and we ask everyone to honor the worship services by keeping the grounds quiet during these times. If you’re unable to attend a service, please remain in your tent, and note that playground lights will be turned off during evening worship. Let’s create a peaceful environment for all to experience God’s presence.

Practical Details for Tenters and Visitors

  • Campsite Reservations: Non-tent holders can reserve campsites starting September 1, 2025, and tent owners can begin reservations on October 1st. The campsite fee is $75 for the week, payable within one week of reservation. Contact Jerry Harrington to reserve (email us at mtpleasantgmc@gmail.com for contact information).
  • Preacher’s Meals: Beverly Evans is coordinating meals for our pastors. If you’d like to host or be on the stand-by list (email us at mtpleasantgmc@gmail.com for contact information).
  • Restrooms: The Youth/Children’s Tent restrooms are available for tent users and visitors. Please keep them clean to ensure they remain welcoming and functional.
  • Garbage and Maintenance: Use the “roll off” dumpster for household garbage only to avoid extra fees. The annual tent maintenance fee of $50 helps cover year-round grounds upkeep, electrical costs, and more.
  • Tent Guidelines: Complete any tent construction or repairs by the first Saturday of Campmeeting (October 11th). Air conditioners are not permitted in tents, and open fires must be attended and extinguished properly. A fire extinguisher in each tent is recommended.
  • Prohibited Items: From October 11th–19th, animals, bicycles, skateboards, golf carts, four-wheelers, or similar vehicles are not allowed on the grounds.
  • Post-Campmeeting: Turn off your tent’s water valve to prevent pipe issues that could affect the Campground’s water system.

A Call for Volunteers

We’re currently seeking someone to run the Public Tent during Campmeeting. If you or an organization are interested, please contact Jerry Harrington at the details above.

A Covenant of Faith

Each tent representative has signed a covenant committing to the values of New Prospect Methodist Campground. Please post this covenant in your tent as a reminder of our shared dedication to this sacred space. If you need to update your tent’s contact information, return the Tenter Information Sheet to Jerry Harrington.

Join Us in Spreading God’s Word

On behalf of the trustees and committee, we’re grateful for your spiritual and financial support, which keeps the tradition of Campmeeting alive. This is a time to come together, worship, and spread the Word of God in a spirit-filled environment. We can’t wait to see you at New Prospect Methodist Campground from October 11th–19th, 2025, for a week of revival, renewal, and community.

Let’s make this Campmeeting a powerful time of worship and connection. See you under the Tabernacle!
